This September we are honored to host another author event. On Monday, September 25 at 7:00 PM we will be joined by Dennis Okholm, author of “Monk Habits for Everyday People.” Gather with us in the fellowship hall for a book chat and coffee, tea, and some desserts.
Dennis Okholm, PhD, has nearly 40 years of teaching experience, including brief teaching assignments in Kenya, Romania, and Sudan. Okholm speaks at various churches and colleges, participates in an Evangelical-Mormon dialogue, teaches theology for the Young Life Institute, and is an oblate of the Benedictine Order. Okholm was an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA) for 28 years before his ordination as a priest in the Anglican Church in North America.
We are thrilled to host this extraordinary event at Rock of the Foothills, where Okholm will be delivering a captivating talk on the relevance of faith in today's rapidly changing world. With his wealth of knowledge and engaging speaking style, Okholm promises to leave the audience inspired and deep in thought. So mark your calendars, invite friends, and come prepared for an enriching evening of exploration and introspection.
