Thank you for considering donating blood at our next blood drive. We are continuing to partner with the Red Cross to host blood drives, even during the coronavirus pandemic. The need for blood is constant, and because blood donations are perishable and cannot be manufactured, the need for donations is constant to match.

Our next blood drive is Sunday, September 6, 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM.

To donate, please sign up by following this link for online scheduling and enter our sponsor code “rockfoot.” In order to donate in May, you will need to make an appointment. To effectively implement social distancing, no walk-ins will be allowed.

On the day of the drive, you can expedite the check-in process and save about 15 minutes at your appointment by completing the donation reading and health questions online before coming in. Go to RedCrossBlood.org/RapidPass to complete the forms – then you can choose to print your pass or email it to yourself to display on your mobile device. You will need to present it on your mobile device or a printed copy when you arrive.

The Red Cross is now testing all blood donations for COVID-19 antibodies. The test results will be available to the donors within 7-10 days on either the Blood Donor app or the donor portal at www.redcrossblood.org.

The health and safety of the Red Cross staff, donors, and others in our community is the highest priority. As a result, additional safety precautions will be taken during the drive including social distancing, temperature screening upon entry, face mask requirements, additional sanitization procedures, and an appointment-only policy.
