Invite a friend and/or join us on Sunday January 16 at noon for served pizza lunch and a lesson in how to knit a hat using a loom. Everything you need to learn will be provided and you are encouraged to take your loom home to continue knitting as many hats as you can for the next month! You may bring your own loom, yarn, or needles if you are already a knitting master, but all ages and skill levels are welcome. During the event our Quilting Ministry will begin raffle ticket sales for a chance to win a home-made quilt. The proceeds of the raffle will help cover the cost of shipping 30 quilts to the Pine Ridge Reservation and provide additional material and funding for more quilts to be made and shared. On Sunday February 13, the raffle winner will be announced and we will collect all hats we were able to knit to be donated to those who are homeless in our community.
